These terms apply when you use rentbeagle.com. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What RentBeagle is, and isn’t
RentBeagle is a free information service that gathers publicly posted apartment prices and related facts so renters can compare them. RentBeagle is not a landlord, property manager, leasing agent or real estate broker. We do not negotiate, arrange or sign leases, we do not handle applications or payments, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or paid by any property shown.
Prices and information can be wrong or out of date
- Prices, fees, specials and availability come from each property’s own website and public records, and they change often, sometimes daily. Each building shows when we last checked it.
- Some figures are our estimates. That includes the “real monthly cost” after fees, the effective rent after a move-in special, deal labels such as “Great deal,” special tiers and lifestyle fit. They are meant to help you compare, not to promise a price.
- Area descriptions are our own general summaries.
- Ratings, reviews and photos marked as coming from Google are written and taken by Google users. They are not RentBeagle’s opinions, and we don’t check them. Review summaries labeled “Summarized with Gemini” are written by Google’s AI.
- Always confirm prices, fees and terms directly with the property before you apply or sign anything.
No professional advice
Nothing on RentBeagle is legal, financial or real estate advice. Decisions about where to live are yours.
Using the site
You may use RentBeagle for your own personal, non-commercial apartment search. Please do not disrupt or overload the site, try to break its security, or copy the site’s design and code to build a competing service.
Our content and others’ trademarks
The RentBeagle name, logo, design, illustrations, writing and code belong to RentBeagle. Property names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify the properties. Facts such as prices and addresses are not owned by anyone, including us.
Google Maps
Parts of this site use Google Maps features and content. Use of Google Maps features and content is subject to the then-current versions of the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Links to other sites
We link to property websites so you can see photos, details and official prices. We are not responsible for those sites, their content or their privacy practices.
Disclaimers
RentBeagle is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee the site will always be available or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, RentBeagle and the people behind it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the site or your reliance on information shown on it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to $100. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site grows. Each version is numbered and dated at the top of this page, and continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
